On the evening of 11 November met the council of Ulm, together with the City of Neu-Ulm by a large majority a landmark decision to build a modern multifunction hall on the Neu-Ulm Volksfestplatz.
After a design & build process, the group was Max Bögl to the arenas in Nuremberg and Varazdin again convince the construction and operation of a multipurpose hall.
The new hall will provide space for up to 6,000 spectators and already be completed by December 2011. The € 27.6 million project consists of one lying on the ground floor foyer, with access on the floor in the hall. The upper floor contains the boxes, which can be used as a separate venue. A subsequent car garage with 250 parking spaces and a parking lot with another 750 parking facilities complete the whole project.
In the future there will be heard in the multipurpose hall league basketball, concerts, shows and a variety of cultural events and to see.
